When looking at other makes and models of powered parachutes,
you might be interested to learn that much of the technology
you see in them may actually have been designed by Buckeye and
is being used on all Buckeye products. Other manufactures have
often taken advantage of our pioneering developments and incorporated
them into their own designs. The following are a few of these
features that should properly be credited to Buckeye.
This historic leadership hasn't gone unnoticed by the Experimental
Aircraft Association. In 1993 the association established a new
category for the emerging powered parachute industry. Judging
for the "Best Powered Parachute" award is based on design,
engineering, flight characteristics, etc. Buckeye has won this
award every year since its inception.
Buckeye has been, and continues to be, committed to innovations in
safety and design features for the benefit of the entire powered
parachute industry. So no matter what brand you may fly, you will
probably notice some of these features on your own powered parachute -
after all why should it be surprising that others have adopted the
pioneering advances of the industry leader?
